Drug Store foundation vs. High End

I am the queen of bargain. I love a bargain especially a good one. I feel that when it comes to makeup you don't have to go for the higher version because there are really good drug store comparisons.


The two foundations that I want to compare are Mac studio fix and Maybelline fit me foundation. I own both and am shocked at how they are very similar in quality.


Mac is a well know cosmetic company and they have excellent quality products, a little on the pricey side but very well worth the money. Mac has a few brands of foundation, but I prefer the Studio Fix Fluid  brand because out of all the foundation this brand is the cheapest at 27.00. A modern foundation that combines a natural matt finish and medium build-able coverage with sunscreen.


I was in Walmart the other day shopping for a drugstore foundation and decided on the Maybelline Fit Me foundation. I like that this brand has colors that fit women of color. The particular collection has a powder, concealer, blush and bronzer to fit your complexion when matched. Speaking of matching, its extremely easy to find your correct color selection as well. Walmart cost for the foundation is 4.84


I compared the two foundations and I find that the coverage of the two foundations are about the same. I love the coverage and find that each foundation is a light to medium coverage. However, the cost has a major difference.
